Drogheda-born, O’Toole grew up in Australia and represented Queensland Schoolboys, before moving to Ireland and joining the Ulster academy in 2017.
Since making his Ulster debut in 2018 he has gone from strength to strength, eventually making his Ireland debut in their summer Test against the USA in 2021.
The tighthead has played in all of Ireland's Six Nations game as they won the Grand Slam in 2023 and appeared at the World Cup.
