Now in his sixth season in Belfast, the former Connacht and Leinster scrum-half was an instant hit when he arrived in the summer of 2017, and was named in the Pro14 team of the season for four years in a row.
His most recent campaign saw him deal with several minor injuries, but he still featured 17 times for the province, bringing him up past a century of games with Ulster.
The Dublin native has won 11 caps with Ireland since his debut in 2017, but hasn't been involved with the national side since February 2020.
