The 24-cap Ireland international has played more than 200 times for Munster across three spells with the province.
The Corkman initially departed Munster for Wasps in the summer of 2022, but that move was cut short after the Premiership side went into administration.
He returned to Munster on a short-term deal, before joining the Chiefs in New Zealand in January 2023, helping the franchise reach the final of Super Rugby.
Re-signing for Munster in the summer of 2023, Ryan was a regular in Graham Rowntree's matchday squads, playing 18 times across the URC and Champions Cup.
