NAME: Seán O'Brien
DOB: 12/05/1998
POSITION: Centre
DEBUT: v Benetton, October 2023
O'Brien established himself as a regular in the Munster squad during his first season at Thomond Park, playing 20 times and scoring four tries across the URC and Champions Cup.
Traditionally a centre, the Mullingar native played the majority of his rugby on the wing last season, mainly due to the province's injuries in the back three.
O'Brien came through Connacht's academy, and played 10 times during the 2020/21 campaign before joining Exeter Chiefs where he spent two seasons.
Sean is the younger brother of former Leinster centre Conor O'Brien.
