New Zealander Nankivell joined Munster ahead of the 2023/24 season from the Chiefs in Super Rugby, and was an instant hit at the province.
The centre scored three tries in 19 games during his first season at the province, and was named on the United Rugby Championship Elite XV alongside his teammates Jack Crowley and Tadhg Beirne.
Before joining Munster, he was selected for the All Blacks XV that played Ireland 'A' and the Barbarians in 2022, and also lined out for the All Blacks XV on their tour to Japan in July 2023.
