The Corkman famously announced himself to the Munster fans with a try on his debut against Wasps in the Covid-hit game in Coventry in December 2021, just one month after joining the academy.
A former All-Ireland winning Gaelic footballer with the Cork minors, he went on to star in Ireland's U20 Six Nations Grand Slam campaign in 2022.
Having scored three tries in ten appearances in 2022/23 he was promoted to a senior contract, but didn't feature for the province during the 2023/24 campaign due to lengthy ankle and shoulder injuries.
