Now out on his own as Munster record appearance holder, the veteran tighthead prop has played 284 for the province as of August 2024.
The Corkman signed a six-month contract extension in May which will keep him at the province until January 2025, and if that gets extended, he has a great shot at becoming Munster's first ever '300 man’.
Archer won two Ireland caps in 2013 against Italy and Australia.
