Barron is now an established part of this Munster team, and has filled in as captain on several occasions across the last two seasons.
The hooker had to endure a frustrating campaign in 2023/24, with a long-term foot injury limiting him to just ten appearances.
The Cashel native has also caught the eye of Ireland head coach Andy Farrell. While he's yet to make a Test debut, he was called into the wider Irish squad on multiple occasions in 2023.
