The younger of Munster's Scannell brothers, Rory played 13 times in 2023/24, bringing him up to 187 appearances for the province.
The centre is set to miss the start of this season, after he suffered an ankle injury in Munster’s final regular-season game against Ulster in May.
Won all three of his Ireland caps on the 2017 summer tour of the USA and Japan.
