After a breakthrough campaign in 2022/23, Salanoa spent all of last season sidelined with a knee injury.
The Hawaii-born prop had made a real emergence in Munster's URC-winning campaign, playing 21 times for the province, which was almost double his tally of the previous seasons combined.
Prior to his injury, the former Leinster academy man had been part of Ireland’s extended 2023 Six Nations squad, and also featured on the Emerging Ireland tour of South Africa in 2022.
