After some uncertainty around his contract, O'Mahony has signed on for another season at Munster, needing just 12 appearances to reach 200 games for his home province.
After captaining Munster since 2013, the flanker stepped down from that role early last season, but remained a key part of Graham Rowntree’s side.
Appointed Ireland captain in 2024, the veteran captained his country to the Six Nations title, and has won 107 caps as of August 2024.
