Kleyn has played 137 times for Munster since arriving from South Africa in 2016.
Having qualified for Ireland in 2019, he won five Irish caps before becoming eligible for the Springboks again last year, and went on to win a World Cup medal, featuring in the final against the All Blacks.
The second row suffered an eye injury just one game into his return from the World Cup, which ultimately ruled him out for the rest of the 2023/24 campaign.
Signed a two-year extension last season, which will keep him at the province until the summer of 2026.
