A graduate of St Michael's College in Dublin, Barron joined the Leinster academy ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Barron was capped at U20 level for Ireland and plays his club rugby for Dublin University.
He was promoted to the senior squad in the summer of 2023 and made 16 appearances ahead of the 2024/25 season.
