O’Connor joins Connacht from English Championship side Ealing Trailfinders, where he has spent the last two seasons.
A younger brother of Ulster second row Alan O’Connor, David also played for the northern province between 2019 and 2022, making 15 appearances.
The Dublin native is a product of the Leinster academy.
