Ben Murphy joined Connacht in the summer of 2024 from Leinster, where he made 12 appearances, nine of which came in the 2023/24 campaign.
Son of Ulster head coach Richie Murphy, Ben played all three games for Ireland U20 in the 2020 Six Nations, before the championship was cancelled due to Covid-19.
The scrum-half also had a brief spell on loan at Munster earlier in his career.
