Hansen arrived at Connacht as an unknown quantity in the summer of 2021, but within 12 months has become one of their key players, as well as an established Ireland international.
The Canberra native scored six tries in his 14 games for Connacht, while he has also earned six caps for Ireland, scoring a try in the Six Nations meeting with France.
Connacht have moved quickly to extend his contract, with the winger agreeing a new deal that will keep him in Galway until the summer of 2025.
