Now entering his 11th season at Connacht, Aki is still playing some of the best rugby of his career.
Scored five tries in 11 games for the province in 2023/24 and was nominated for World Rugby men's player of the year, and won the men’s players’ player of the year at the Rugby Player Ireland awards.
The New Zealander qualified for Ireland through residency in 2017, and has won 57 caps.
