Munster began life under new coach Clayton McMillan with a 34-21 victory away to Scarlets in the opening game of the BKT United Rugby Championship.
Captain Craig Casey opened the scoring in the 10th minute with out-half JJ Hanrahan adding a conversion and two first-half penalties.
Mike Haley, debutant Dan Kelly and Thomas Ahern all crossed in the second half, while Jack Crowley kicked three conversions.
