Connacht expect the majority of their Ireland players to return ahead of the URC clash against Munster in Castlebar in two weeks' time.
Pete Wilkins side, ninth in the URC table with six rounds left, face Ospreys on Saturday and will be without Bundee Aki, Mack Hansen, Finlay Bealham and captain Cian Prendergast for the trip to Swansea.
Prendergast didn't feature in the Six Nations after withdrawing from the matchday squad prior to the round three match against Wales through illness.
However, along with regulars Aki, Hansen and Bealham, the back row has been given the week off to recuperate.
Scrum-half Caolin Blade is available this weekend for the Westerners, who won back-to-back URC games during the Six Nations window.
Connacht had only managed three league wins before the victories over Cardiff and Benetton in Galway and building on those points is a must, according to scrum and contact coach Cullie Tucker.
"The two wins were important to put us back in a healthy position in the table," said Tucker, whose side qualified as top seeds for the last 16 of the Challenge Cup where they will meet Cardiff.
"Spirits are high, we're training well at the moment. We've had a two-week lead-in to this game. We're really looking forward to the weekend.
"You are into the business end now, we've three big games in a row.
"Hopefully more knockout games after Cardiff. Down the line, then you are off to South Africa so it's a big physical block, the wider squad are going to be very important for us.
"We just need to keep momentum, keep it game to game.
"The same five points you get for beating Benetton is the same four or five points you get for beating Ospreys so that's the focus for us."
The Welsh side lost narrowly to league leaders Leinster in round 11 but beat Glasgow away last time out.
They would leapfrog Connacht with a win in the 5.15pm kick-off (live on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player).
"They are a very efficient team," said Tucker of Ospreys, for whom former Wales international Justin Tipuric (above) is top of the charts in lineouts won with 65.
"A couple of things stand out, probably number one the quality of their maul.
"They consistently get a lot of lineouts and their conversion rate around maul right up there, I think it is top of URC with the metres they gain and the tries they score as well. They know how they want to play the game, and they have plenty of X factor around the place.
"With their brilliant back row they put a lot of ruck pressure on. Tipuric is playing incredible rugby at 7, probably as good as he's played in his whole career. Morgan Morris at 8 has been fantastic, their kicking game has been good.
"Keelan Giles on the wing has plenty of pace.
"It's a big challenge for us in terms of combatting that. Our own set-piece has to be excellent and our physicality has to be right up there as well."
