Munster have issued positive updates on both Jack Crowley and Ton Ahern ahead of Friday night's BKT United Rugby Championship trip to Edinburgh.
Out-half Crowley and versatile forward Ahern departed the second half of Saturday's 47-12 win over Connacht with respective foot and shoulder injuries, but both players are on track to be fit for the game at the Hive Stadium.
The pair got though this afternoon's training session at Munster's University of Limerick base, according to assistant coach Andi Kyriacou.
"We hope so," Kyriacou said when asked if the pair were on track to make the trip to Edinburgh.
"They got through most of training today, and then we're just going to see how they pull up, and react to the training they've done.
"They got through a good body of work, so fingers crossed they'll come through and be ready for the game."
Friday night will come too soon for flanker John Hodnett.
The 25-year-old has missed the last two games with to a leg injury, with the province targeting the Round 18 meeting with Ulster for his return to action.
"He's progressing really well. He'll keep reintegrating himself back into his return to play stuff that he's been doing with [athletic performance coach] Dave Power and the physio department, and hopefully we'll see him back on the grass with us, if not next week, then the week after," Kyriacou added.

Saturday's win over Connacht confirmed Munster's place in next month's play-offs, but with the defending champions third in the table with just two games to play, they have set their sights on breaking into the top two, which would give them home advantage for the quarter-final, as well as a potential semi-final.
Friday night's opponents Edinburgh are right in the middle of a congested race to secure Champions Cup qualification.
Sean Everitt's side are currently seventh in the table heading into the final two rounds, a position they may need to retain to ensure Champions Cup qualification.
"They're like mini finals every week now, with the league being so tight, and the Sharks being alive in Europe as well, to potentially gain that European slot," the Munster forwards coach added.
"That's intensified things more, if it could be possible. We're pretty calm and measured about it, we've not really looked past the game we have in front of us, and this week is Edinburgh and we know the threats they've got and what they're going to come with.
"It's a big challenge going over there and performing, so we've addressed a few bits that we needed to sort out from Connacht, and we're looking forward to the challenge that we're going to face this weekend on Friday night."
Just as they did 12 months ago, Munster have found form in the final third of this season, and are currently on a seven-game winning run in all competitions.
And while their three recent wins against the Bulls, Lions and Connacht have particularly caught the eye, Kyriacou has been keen to highlight the work done by the wider squad earlier in the season.
"It's come off the body of a lot of work from guys that might not necessarily be selected at the moment. I think back to those games when the Six Nations were on, and the wins we were picking up there, the momentum we were gathering with the players who played in those games, Jack O'Sullivan and people like that.
"That's really spurred things on, and you add the international lads back in, RG [Snyman] is fit again and available, and those guys add that bit of extra weight and size to the pack, the detail we've been coaching on and working as a group just strengthens that, and we think we've seen the results in the last couple of weeks.
"We're not done there, we want to keep driving that on."
