Andrew Conway, Jack O'Donoghue and Jack Crowley have all agreed new contracts at Munster, but John Ryan will depart the province at the end of January.

Conway is yet to feature this season, having been sidelined since March with a knee injury, but the 31-year-old has agreed a two-year extension to keep him at Thomond Park until 2025.

Crowley and O'Donoghue have also signed on for two more years at the province, with Crowley fresh off his first international caps with Ireland last month.

The province confirmed that John Ryan will depart Munster at the end of January, with the tighthead prop set to join New Zealand's Chiefs in Super Rugby in the new year.

Having left Munster in the summer, Ryan returned to the province on a short-team deal in October when his contraxct at Wasps was cancelled following the Premiership side's financial crisis.

And while Munster had hoped to keep him for the remainder of the season, the 34-year-old will instead take up an opportunity in New Zealand.

Elsewhere Stephen Archer and Jack O'Sullivan have stepped up their recovery from injury, but are yet to return to full training ahead of Sunday's Heineken Champions Cup trip to the Northampton Saints.

O'Sullivan hasn't featured since suffering a knee injury in the province's Round 6 defeat to Leinster in the BKT United Rugby Championship in October, while Archer has been sidelined with an ankle injury for the past eight weeks.

The province say the pair have increased their training volumes this week.

Head coach Graham Rowntree has no new injuries to contend with, after Sunday's Champions Cup defeat to Toulouse on Sunday.

Conor Murray could be in contention to return for the trip to Northampton. The scrum-half returned to full-training last week, having been sidelined with a groin injury since Ireland's win against South Africa on 5 November, however he wasn't risked for the last Sunday's Champions Cup opener.

Tom Ahern (shoulder), RG Snyman (knee), Fineen Wycherley (shoulder), Paddy Kelly (head), Jack Daly (knee), Andrew Conway (knee), Keynan Knox (knee) and Simon Zebo (knee) are all continuing to rehab.
