Allegation made of match-fixing at French Open

The Tennis Integrity Unit has declined to comment on reports of a match-fixing probe which threatens to overshadow the French Open.

The Paris prosecutor's office reportedly began investigating claims of "organised fraud" and "corruption in sports" following a women’s doubles match earlier in the tournament.

However, in line with its policy of operational confidentiality, the TIU would not comment on the matter when contacted.

French Open organisers have also been contacted for a comment.
