Fourth seed Dominic Thiem reached the semi-finals of the French Open for the fourth successive year with a dominant victory over Karen Khachanov.
Only Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer can boast a more consistent record here than the Austrian, who has motored into top gear through the tournament and comfortably dispatched Russian Khachanov 6-2 6-4 6-2.
Thiem lost in the last four in 2016 and 2017 but reached his first grand slam final here 12 months ago before losing to Nadal.
Thiem's opponent will be Novak Djokovic, who he will take on at Roland Garros for the third time in four years.
Djokovic was in a spot of bother in the first set against fifth seed Alexander Zverev but untroubled thereafter, easing to a 7-5 6-2 6-2 victory.
Zverev served for the first set at 5-4 but was broken before double-faulting on set point. He then served three successive double faults to finish the second set and Djokovic did not look back as he progressed to his first semi-final here since winning the title in 2016.
