Simona Halep overcame a bout of sickness ahead of the Shenzhen Open final before claiming her ninth WTA title.
Number one seed and world number three Halep crushed Timea Bacsinszky 6-2 6-2 in just 62 minutes, with her main scare coming in the build up.
Romanian Halep said: "I wasn't feeling very well before the match. I was a little bit sick.
"So I told myself I have nothing to lose, just go on court, be relaxed, stay focused and fight for every point.
"It worked and I felt really relaxed today. I'm happy I could play better day by day and match by match here."
Number eight seed Bacsinszky, who had caused a shock by beating world number four Petra Kvitova in the semi-final to reach her first WTA final since 2010, was no match for Halep.
Bacsinszky failed to muster a single break point, whilst suffering four breaks of her own serve.
