World number one Novak Djokovic made short work of Italy's Andreas Seppi to book his place in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters.
The Serbian raced to a 6-1 6-4 win in one hour 28 minutes to set up a meeting with Ukraine's Alexandr Dolgopolov.
Djokovic saved three break points in the first set, breaking twice himself, before a single break in the second earned him victory.
Djokovic's countryman Janko Tipsarevic, the seventh seed, was also a comfortable second-round winner, seeing off Spain's Albert Montanes 6-2 6-3.
