Limerick’s Conor Niland won the Salzburg Indoor Challenger tournament in Austria on Sunday.
Niland, who had been seeded eight, needed three sets to defeat unseeded Polish player Jerzy Janowicz, winning 7-6, 6-7, 6-3.
Niland will see his world ranking to improve to around 134 when the new listings are announced on Monday.
The 28-year-old has also picked a winner’s cheque of €6,150.
