Ana Ivanovic continued her return to form today by beating Alisa Kleybanova in straight sets to win the Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions in Bali.

The former world number one, 23 on Saturday, beat her Russian opponent 6-2 7-6 (7/5) to make sure of a return to the top 20 when the new rankings are released on Monday.

Ivanovic's 10th WTA singles title comes just three weeks after she wrapped up her ninth in Linz. Prior to the success in Austria, the 2008 French Open champion had not won a tournament since 2008.

The Serbian said: ‘The second set came down to mental strength and just believing in myself. I managed to stay calm so I was happy to close out the match.

‘It's great to win another title, I'm thrilled and it's a big step for me. The last few months have been great and really exciting, and it's a good way to go into next season.’

Ivanovic, who has now won 13 of her last 15 WTA matches, slipped to 65 in the rankings in July - her lowest rating in five-and-a-half years.
