World number one Serena Williams has pulled out of the Paris Open due to a leg injury, organisers said on Saturday.
Williams has been struggling with the injury since the Australian Open, which she won for a fifth time last month.
The 28-year-old American overcame the rejuvenated Belgian Justine Henin 6-4 3-6 6-2 at the end of January in Melbourne.
