Third-seed Argentinian Gisela Dulko set up a Copa Sony Ericsson Colsanitas final meeting with seventh seed Spaniard Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez after recording a straight sets semi-final win over unseeded Romanian Edina Gallovits.
World number 46 Dulko, who is the highest-ranked competitor left in the tournament and the only player to have previously won a WTA title, posted a 6-2 6-3 win in 65 minutes.
Dulko is seeking a fourth trophy and first since last May.
Sanchez secured her place in the final with a 7-5 7-5 win over Austria's Patricia Mayr.
