Ireland's Conor Niland has been disqualified from an ATP Challenger event in Los Angeles after accidentally hitting a linesman with a ball.
The Irish number one was in action against American Ryan Sweeting, leading 5-2 in the second set.
Niland took his frustrations out on the ball when Sweeting bought the tie back to 5-4, inadvertantly hitting an official.
Under ITF rules match officials could not allow Niland continue.
