Venus Williams is looking forward to the Williams family once more dominating women's tennis.

After attending the champions ball and celebrating her 6-4 6-1 victory against Marion Bartoli which brought her fourth Wimbledon singles title, Williams predicted another spate of all-Williams finals.

Venus and Serena have contested five Grand Slam finals to date, with Serena winning four, including Wimbledon in 2003 and 2002, and Venus just one, the US Open in 2001.

Venus insisted: 'We are always extremely happy to be in the finals against each other because growing up we dreamed of being on top of women's tennis, of world tennis, playing Slam finals and being one and two. That's what we worked for.

'When that happens it's incredible, it's amazing. There's no doubt that we can achieve these things. We just have to stay on tour.'

That has proved difficult in recent years with Serena having developed an interest in acting and Venus in fashion, pursuits which have seen them take their focus away from tennis.

They have not played as regularly on the WTA tour, which accounted for Venus's low seeding of 23 at Wimbledon despite being a three-times former champion at the start of this year's tournament.

On top of that they have both battled injuries, a wrist problem keeping Venus out of action for months last year while Serena has seen her famed physique struggle against a series of leg and shoulder problems.

But Venus believes that is all behind them and that her win over Bartoli has given them the incentive to chase more glory.
