Top seed Martina Hingis capped off a dominant showing at the Sunfeast Open on Sunday with a 6-0 6-4 defeat of Olga Poutchkova of Russia.
A five-time grand slam champion, Hingis captured her second title in 2006, her first full season back on the WTA Tour after a three-year absence.
Overall, it was her 42nd career title in 66 appearances in a final.
'I'm very happy with my comeback year,' said Hingis, the ninth-ranked player in the world.
'Getting to the top 10 was a dream and the next dream is making it to the Sony Ericsson Championships in Madrid.'
The 25-year-old Swiss did not drop a set in the tournament and lost just five games from the semi-final onwards.
On Saturday, the Swiss star took apart fifth seed and local favourite Sania Mirza 6-1 6-0.
