Tim Henman continued his grass-court resurgence at the Stella Artois Championship today by bursting past Russian Dmitry Tursunov 6-3 7-6 and booking his semi-final place.

The Russian had beaten Henman in three of the last four Grand Slams but the Englishman finally got his revenge today.

Elsewhere, Rafael Nadal's recent exertions finally took their toll as he was forced to retire with his quarter-final against Lleyton Hewitt finely poised at one set all.

The world number two had received treatment on a left arm injury midway through the second set, and was finally forced to admit a defeat which brought his 26-match unbeaten record to an end.
