Dominik Hrbaty kept Slovakia's Davis Cup hopes alive with a nerve-shredding 4-6 6-3 6-4 3-6 6-4 victory over Croatia's Ivan Ljubicic to level the final at 2-2.
The Slovakian number one lost all five previous matches against Ljubicic and looked to be sliding to another defeat when he dropped the first set before launching a dramatic fightback.
The final, the first between unseeded World Group nations, will now be decided in the fifth rubber when Croatia's Mario Ancic will take on either Karol Kucera or Michal Mertinak.
