Mixed doubles success for Australia

Australia's Scott Draper today won the mixed doubles title at the Australian
Open - on the same weekend he made his professional golf debut.

Draper teamed up with compatriot Samantha Stosur to beat Zimbabwe's Kevin Ullyett and South African Liezel Huber in three sets in Melbourne.

The left-hander could have also been in action in golf's Victorian Open but missed the cut after rounds of 79 and 74.

The 30-year-old will be back on the course tomorrow however, trying to qualifying for the week's Heineken Classic at Royal Melbourne.
