British Davis Cup future in the balance

Britain's Davis Cup future hangs in the balance after Greg Rusedski's decisive match against Hicham Arazi was suspended at the end of the third set. A clearly exhausted Rusedski will now hope to recover overnight and battle hisway back from two sets to one down after an incredible day's tennis in Casablanca ended in a way nobody could have predicted.

A pre-match agreement between the team captains stating that once thefloodlights had been turned on a new set could not be started, brought an end to proceedings to the frustration of the Moroccan team and the anger of their fans.
