1996 champion Richard Krajicek secured his place in this year's quarter-finals with a stunning five sets victory over Mark Philoppoussis in their much delayed last 16 match on Centre Court. The game resumed this evening finely balanced with both players taking two of the previous four sets on 7-6 tie-breaks after play had been postponed twice since Monday because of bad light and rain. And with just the one set to play Dutchman Krajicek finally overcame Australian wildcard Philippoussis 6-4 to earn a last eight meeting with Belgium's Xavier Malisse.
