Henman loses out to Kuerten

British number one Tim Henman lost his rain-delayed semi-final against Gustavo Kuerten at the Masters Series event in Cincinnati today. Henman was on the verge of levelling the match at one set apiece when he held a 5-1 lead in the second set before rain interrupted play yesterday. Kuerten had earlier taken the first set 6-2.

When the match was finally able to restart earlier today, Henman matched the Brazilian all the way in the final set before finally succumbing 7-4 in the tie-break. Kuerten will now face Australian Pat Rafter in the final.
