The Wimbledon tennis tournament suffered a setback with the news that the world number one and French Open champion Gustavo Kuerten has been forced to pull out of the event due to injury.
The Brazilian star, how had previously threatened to boycott the event over its seedings policy, has been forced out due to injury problems with his right leg, an injury which hampered his third French Open championship at Roland Garos.
There is also a question mark hanging over the the head of American Jennifer Capriati after the news that she has withdrawn from a grass court warm up tournament in Holland because of 'fatigue'.
