Razzano knocks out Huber

Virginie Razzano caused a major upset at the French Open this afternoon by beating world number 17 Anke Huber. The Frenchwoman's surprise success caused quite a stir on Centre Court as she outclassed the German 6-0 4-6 6-1. Razzano, ranked 113th in the world, had not won on clay this year before the French Open but she blitzed the former world number four in the first set.

In the second set, Huber managed to secure an early break and held on to level the match at one set each. However, Razzano raised her game in the third set and had little difficulty overcoming a disgruntled Huber. Razzano will now take on Belgian 14th seed Justine Henin in the next round.
