Tennis: Doyle wins in some style at Fitzwilliam

In the Irish womens tennis open at Fitzwilliam Ireland’s top hope for a home win, Yvonne Doyle came through what was taught to be a tough opener, with a straight sets first round win over Sweden's Maria Wolfbrandt to win 7-6 6-0. Doyle now on the American challenge circuit and just outside the worlds’s top 250 finished off in style. Sadly Elsa O'Rian,Gina Niland.Kelly Liggan and Karen Nugent all lost their first round matches.
