Susie Berry from Banbridge, County Down was part of the team that qualified Ireland for the Paris Games at the Eventing World Championships in 2022, where they finished fifth.
Berry missed the end of the eventing season in late 2023 with broken ribs, concussion, broken ribs, punctured lungs, and liver laceration sustained in a Blair Castle competition– but recovered fully and took third in the CCI4* in Kronenberg seven months later
Berry will be aboard Wellfields Lincoln for the Olympic eventing competition, who is nicknamed 'Slinky'. In 2021 she partnered John the Bull to 3rd place in the CCI4* in Blenheim.
In 2022 she set up her own yard and was part of the team who finished fifth at the World Championships and secured Olympic qualification, she also won the CCI4* in Little Downham on Wellfields Lincoln.
