Victoria Catterson will be competing in the relay events in the pool in Paris. The 200m freestyle national record holder competed in the World Championships this year in her individual events, finishing 19th overall in both the 100m and 200m freestyle.
The Belfast swimmer finished eighth in the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and is now based out of the NAC in Dublin. Catterson is the 200m freestyle record holder and was part of the women's 4x100m medley relay team whose national record of 4:01.25 at the 2023 World Championships in Japan ranked them 13th in the world, and earned Ireland's first women’s Olympic relay slot since 1972.
