Jake Passmore was the first Irish representative to win a medal at the European Junior Diving Championships, winning bronze in the 1m springboard in 2022.
In the same year Passmore won silver in the World Junior Championships. Passmore now becomes only the third Irish male diver to compete at the Olympics.
Passmore represented Ireland at the European Games in 2023. In what was his first senior international competition, Passmore made the final.
