Imogen Magner began rowing in Barcelona in 2016 after a junior career playing tennis in the academies in Spain. Initially Magner entered the GB rowing development programme before trialling for Ireland in 2022 thanks to her paternal grandfather.
Magner made her first Irish appearance in 2023, winning the pair 'B' final at the European Championships with Natalie Long.
Magner is a member of Carlow Rowing Club and Leander Rowing Club in Reading.
