Zoe Hyde makes her Olympic debut alongside Alison Bergin.
With former doubles partner Sanita Puspure, Hyde won bronze at the World Championships in 2022.
The pairing of Hyde and Bergin was formed in 2023, they were a surprise heat winner at the 2023 World Championships and went on to finish fourth overall and secure their place in Paris. This year the pairing finished fifth at the Europeans, and fourth at the second World Cup regatta.
Hyde hails form Kerry and is a member of Killorglin Rowing Club and only made a return to elite level rowing during lockdown when she was able to train more when working from home. She put her work with Deloitte on hold after her medal winning exploits in 2022.
