Galway native Aifric Keogh is a food microbiology graduate of UCC and a member of the Cork college's rowing club.
Keogh is part of the 'women’s four’ team, one of six Irish boats to qualify for the games. The quartet left it late, winning the final Olympic qualifying regatta in Lucerne last month.

Keogh was also a finalist in the women’s pair at the 2018 World Rowing Championships with current team-mate Emily Hegarty.
