The well-travelled Mollen was born in Kenya and ended up in Dublin, where he played senior schools rugby with Blackrock.
Some standout performances with Trinity earned him a sevens call-up and he made his World Series debut in Hong Kong on 2018.
The versatile Mollen can play in the forwards and the backs for the sevens side. He was part of the squad at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2022 Sevens World Cup. Mollen captained the squad for the Canada Sevens in Vancouver in 2021.
