Mullin spent three years at the Leinster Academy where he got just two caps off the bench in 2018 and made seven appearances for Ireland Under-20s in 2017.
The 26-year-old made his sevens debut at the Tokyo Games after a late call-up and lines out as a prop.
Mullin has lined out for 45 matches for the national side this season, scoring 15 tries in the process. The Blackrock college alumni got the side off to a winning start at the Grand Final in Madrid scoring two late tries off the bench to make up a 14-point deficit.
Mullin's father Brendan is a former Ireland and Lions international centre.
