Leona Maguire is currently ranked 29th in the world. In 2024 she finished 12th in The Cognizant Founders Cup and 24th in the PGA Championship.
Maguire had a hugely illustrious amateur career before turning professional in 2018. She subsequently won two events on the Symetra Tour, before adding a trio of professional titles, most recently the Aramco Team Series in London.
While still amateur, she represented Ireland at the Rio Olympics in 2016, finishing in a tie for 21st spot and tied 23rd spot in Tokyo 2020.
Maguire became the first Irish woman to claim a victory in the Ladies European Tour, when the Cavan native won by one shot in Hemel Hempstead in July.
